Company Profile

Founded in 1983, INASCA Agroindustrial, S.R.L. is dedicated primarily to the production and extraction of palm oil. We are an important contributor to the production of edible oils in the Dominican Republic.

Since our founding we have been proud community members of El Valle, Hato Mayor, an ideal location for African Oil Palm (Elaeis Guineensis) cultivation because of the characteristics of its climate. Throughout the years, INASCA has had a significant positive impact on the economy of the region, creating stable agricultural jobs in the fields as well as industrial jobs in the palm oil mill.

INASCA has also had a positive impact on the soil structure, which—previous to the acquisition by INASCA—had suffered compaction and erosion due to over-grazing. After the conversion to oil palm cultivation, the condition of the topsoil has improved immeasurably.

As responsible citizens of El Valle and of the Dominican Republic, at INASCA we always seek to fulfill our social and environmental responsibilities. We are currently in the process of obtaining the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) certification, the highest standard currently available worldwide in the palm oil industry pertaining to social and environmental practices.

Additionally, we have long contributed—financially and logistically—to both public and private social institutions in El Valle, and we offer assistance to less-fortunate individuals in our community in a variety of ways.
